Update started the game over I had all the busses and now have to start over. Plus I bought the app and I have ads again.

This game is the best crashing racing game you will ever find

This game had been one of my favorites for a long time, but this update has pushed the "freemium" model too far. Let me preface this by saying I dont mind paying for a game. If I like a game and I feel like an in-app purchase is reasonable Ill do it. I spend around $10-$20/month on games, so dont think Im anti-freemium; I am not. I just feel like after this update the ONLY reason to make an in-app purchase is to get rid of the ads. I get it, ads pay the bills where most people dont spend money and the game developer is trying to earn a profit. I am totally on board with this model. Again, I have no problem shelling out some cash on a game I enjoy playing if its a reasonable price (and the prices in this game ARE reasonable). That being said, however, agressive, annoying video ads after EVERY race (if youre not on wifi or cellular the game freezes), and flashy, obnoxious banner ads DURING game play have made this game nearly unplayable. I like the content of the new update (new buses, new level, new difficulty challenge, in-app purchase of temporary coin boost), but there needs to be some balance between the game and the ads. Post-update, instead of the game being played in fullscreen (like before), the banner ads are displayed at the top and bottom of the screen (again, DURING game play), taking up roughly one third of the screen. If youre on a smaller tablet or phone, good luck playing at all. My other gripe is that I had made an in-app purchase on my first iPad when I first started playing the game (still have the device), but when I went to download the game on my phone and new iPad, the ads were there in full obnoxious display. There needs to be a way to sync your progress, coins, purchases, etc. to a server so the game can be played across devices without having to make a purchase on each device you play on. As for the restart button...oh wait, there isnt one. PLEASE ADD A RESTART BUTTON so you dont have to abort and go back to the main menu each time you want to restart a race. Fix the ads and add the restart button and this game is a winner and gets 10 stars!!

This was how my last review started: "This is my favorite game out of all my apps. Ive been playing it literally for years, mostly all I do now is the Figure 8 race but it never gets old." However, for the first time in years an update came out...and it completely ruined the game. The fun that used to be experienced can no longer be felt. If they want to put ads in the game to make more money, fine...but dont put them in our face during the race. There is a ton of lagging now with ads loading during the race. I, like many others, have been a dedicated user of this app for years. But they just ruined all of those years of a favorite app with one giant disappointment of an update. This is the app equivalent of Leonardo Da Vinci coming back and giving Mona Lisa a beard...and then slapping an ad across the front.

I used to love this game. It was my favorite iOS game. I havent played in a long time, and recently re downloaded it only to find out, its ruined. The ads cover the screen most of the time, and cause major lag. Then, I bought the 200,000 +Ad free to get rid of the ads, and my money was taken, but nothing happened. No coins, still ads. This used to be a great game. Not anymore.

This is such a great game, 6 out of 5 stars

Best racing game ever!

Finally the new update is here. I like the new buses and the new track is also great, though a little but simple. There are ads in-game, its a but annoying but its possible to remove it with a single purchase. Id really love to see multiplayer in this game, but there must be a reason why its not in it. Im waiting for the next update or perhaps the sequel.

I loved this game......till the ads showed up....deleted it off my phone.

9/17 update - company has contacted me and as usual tried to put the blame on me - you know. In the end I was told that they could not find a problem with their store and getting the ad-free option. Also, I was told not to pay for the ad-free option again by both the company and by Apple (who refunded my $2.99) until they post a fix. I would appreciate it if those who are paying for ad-free and getting that version WITH NO ADS - please post that information. Originally, I paid through my Ipad mini 2 - which I have never had a problem with in upgrading apps previously so I dont know what makes this upgrade so special. I have the original 2013 game on my older Ipad3 so I go back to that as I only updated my Ipad mini2. With that, I am leaving my review as is because those ads make the game play tedious. There should not be any ads taking up the screen while the game is on. --------- I contacted the company after this massive 8/2016 update, as I paid $2.99 for the ad free and coins option but never heard from them after trying to repeatedly reatart the app to knock off the ads. They dont believe in a "restore previous purchases" button as well - nowhere to be found. I find ill favor when I pay for something and it never appears. They dont seem to be in a rush to contact me by email and so I am posting this. Happy to change the rating when they make good on my payment. I dont like getting burned.

I am addicted to this game, its so enjoyable and the feeling of the vehicles are great. I really wish they would do the same thing but with actual stock cars like at a local dirt speedway or something. I would pay for that. However, the ads are outrageous. There are banners at the top and usually bottom WHILE you race, plus video ads after every other race. Its quite intrusive to the immersion of the gameplay. Other than that its an amazing game, but the ads are annoying and plastered enough to drop it two stars. Ease up and I will fix it to five.

Love this game! Very well thought out and good story progression! Occasionally the ads are annoying but I usually play on the road, so I just disable data and its ad-free!

Great game with good physics and crashes, easy at the begining and gets more challenging at the end.

Love it. Very crash related! Love the new buses. Ive only got the monster bus I think thats what its called. I would like them to make an option for having the same brakes as the AI. Still very fun though!

Im glad that the company has come back to update this game. I hope you make more busses and more tracks. Keep up the work.
